भाद्रपद महिन्यातील शुक्ल पक्षाची पौर्णिमा ⚪ ते अश्विन महिन्याच्या कृष्ण पक्षातील 🌑 अमावास्येपर्यंतच्या कालावधीला पितृ पक्ष म्हणतात.

पिता ददाति सत्पुत्रान् गोधनानि पितामह: ।

धनदाता भवेत्सोपि यस्तस्य प्रपितामह: ।

दद्याद्विपुलमन्नाद्यं वृद्धस्तु प्रपितामह: ।

तृप्ता: श्राद्धेन ते सर्वे दत्वा पुत्रस्य वांछितं ।

By performing the shraddha/paksha ritual, Your father will bless you with virtuous children. Your grandfather will bless you with wealth in the form of cows, and your great-grandfather will bless you with property and wealth. They also bestow us with food, shelter, wealth, grains, and so on.

आपण या पितृ पक्षात पंढरपूर धामात आपल्या प्रियजनांच्या प्रित्यार्थ श्राद्धपक्षात (१७ सप्टेंबर ते २ ऑक्टोबर ) पैकी एखादा तिथीला पूर्वजांचे नावाने ₹११००/- दान केल्यास त्यांच्या नावाने संकल्प करून अन्नदान करण्यात येईल.
